Product information "Big Red Button"
Add
more ceremony to product launches, server shutdowns, and openings!
Nothing makes you feel important like pressing a dangerous-looking,
tempting button. Safety switches were added to make accidental discharge
unlikely. The first switch tells the box to connect to the server that
will actually perform the action. From this point, the connection is
monitored and the latency is displayed. The second switch arms the
button, and pressing the button executes an arbitrary command on the
connected server, while waiting for confirmation that the action
happened.
